Below is the journal for our self-guided trip to southern California from September 26 through October 10, 2015. We flew in and out of Los Angeles and spent time in LA, drove along the coast as far north as Solvang and as far south as San Diego. We also spent 3 days camping and sea kayaking at Channel Islands National Park.

The journal is broken up into several different sections to make it a bit more manageable.

We've tried to make the journal entries as compact as possible while still telling you some of the interesting things that happened each day. Hopefully, we've struck the right balance.
