Below is the journal for our self-guided trip to Scotland from August 29 through September 20, 2014. We spent the first two weeks driving around Scotland and the last week taking the RYA Day Skipper course through West Coast Sailing on the Firth of Clyde.

The journal is broken up into several different sections to make it a bit more manageable.

We've tried to make the journal entries as compact as possible while still telling you some of the interesting things that happened each day. Hopefully, we've struck the right balance.
